Dr. Brian Goldman on empathy, life in the emergency room, and kindness
Dr. Brian Goldman has worked in Mount Sinai in Toronto, as an emergency room physician for over 20 years. He is also a prominent medical journalist and the host of CBC Radio’s White Coat, Black Art. The author of three books: The Nightshift, The Secret Language of Doctors, and The Power of Kindness. He has proven to be unafraid of using his own medical mistakes for examples on how doctors can improve. His TEDtalk – “Doctors Make Mistakes. Can We Talk About That?” has been watched by close to a million viewers, and has been featured in The Huffington Post and NPRs TED Radio Hour.
